La Galouïne Auberge boasts a beautiful setting in the heart of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park, and offers unique regional products. On-site services include lodging, terrace, take-out, activity packages, whale-watching cruise tickets and boutique.
In this establishment managed by Paryse Deschênes, and under the watchful eye of chef-owner Martin Brisson, the pleasures of the table come from two smokehouses that give full flavor to regular or maple-smoked salmon, as well as marinated and smoked duck breast.
La Galouïne also boasts a terrace for tasting quality beers, as well as 24 rooms and 1 studio (in 3 buildings) with all modern comforts, including private bathrooms, coffeemaker (coffee or tea), fridge, microwave and Wi-Fi. Enough to prolong the pleasure in a corner of the country renowned for its marine mammals and legendary bay.
The L’Aquilon boutique showcases the assets of the Côte-Nord region with a range of products bearing the Terroir Boréal signature: onion confit, spreads, berry syrups such as wild blueberry and cranberry, wild mushroom powders, infusions, herbs and more.
